Regarding Sign-Up

Q: How can I qualify for the Tuning Test?

A: Follow the steps below to obtain a qualification test:

- Go to the official Zenless Zone Zero website and click on "Sign Up", log in with your HoYoverse Account >>> Fill out and submit the Tuning Test survey >>> After submitting your information, sign-up is successful and you have a chance to qualify for the test;

- Participate in Zenless Zone Zero community events and have the chance to join the test!

Q: When does the sign-up event end?

A: The Tuning Test sign-up event starts on 2022/5/13 at 12:00 (UTC+8), the deadline will be announced separately, so please look out for subsequent news.

Q: How can I confirm my sign-up was successful?

A: After completing the sign-up process, Proxies will receive a "Sign-Up Successful" pop-up notice on the sign-up page confirming they have signed up.

Q: Can I change my info on the Sign-Up Survey after submitting it?

A: Proxies will not be able to change their information after submitting the survey. However, we will provide Proxies with a single chance to change their submitted contact details (only contact info).

Please go to the official Zenless Zone Zero website and log in with your HoYoverse ID, then click “Change Sign-Up Information" on the Personal Registration Info page to change your details.

Q: What should I do if I don't receive the verification code email when signing up?

A: If no verification code email is received when signing up, please first check if the email has gone to your spam folder. If you still can't find the email please contact our official customer services.

Regarding the Test

Q: What languages will be supported in the game during the Tuning Test?

A: The Tuning Test will be available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. More languages will be supported in future tests, so stay tuned!

Q: How can I confirm I've qualified for the test?

A: Once the Tuning Test sign-up closes, we'll notify successful Proxies through email and SMS. We'll also send the test client install package through email before the test starts, so please pay close attention to your email.

Please note that the above notifications will be sent to the email and/or cell phone Proxies provided on the "Contact Details" page (the last sign-up step). As such, please make sure you fill in the correct email and/or cell phone number.

(There will only be one chance to change your registered information, please refer to the "Can I change my info on the Sign-Up Survey after submitting it?" question above)

Q: When does the test start and end?

A: The test's time will be announced separately. Please keep an eye out for later announcements.

Q: Can I still join the test if I don't have an iOS device or PC?

A: Unfortunately this Tuning Test only supports iOS and PC (Windows). When answering the survey please choose the most suitable device for you to participate in the test. We'll continue to expand the available platforms, so stay tuned! Watch out for further expansions and optimizations coming soon!

Q: How can I confirm my device is supported for this test?

A: We recommend the following device models for this test:

iOS devices: iPhone 11 or higher devices with iOS 10.0 and above, 4GB of RAM, minimum 6GB of remaining storage.

PC: Intel i5 or above, NVIDIA GTX970 or equivalent graphics card and above, 8GB RAM, 10GB minimum of remaining storage.

Q: Will the Tuning Test support switching between platforms?

A: We will issue both iOS and PC test qualification to all Proxies who qualified for the test. (The test is not available on Android devices)

Proxies can choose to play on either platform according to their needs.

Your qualifications in this test will be tied to the first device you log in with on each platform, i.e. a single HoYoverse ID can only log in with one iOS device and one PC. If you change devices on the same platform during the test, your account will automatically be blocked. In view of the possibility of account sharing/trading, such bans will not be lifted during the test.

Q: Will accounts data be deleted after the test?

A: Please take note all account data will be deleted when the test servers shut down.

Q: Can I post the test content to social media platforms, such as live or recorded gameplay and screenshots? Can I live stream?

A: In the interests of complying with laws and regulations, platform rules and other requirements, no strict rules will be applied to the test on the sharing, discussion, and distribution of test content. However, please note that we reserve the right to pursue legal action by litigation and other means for infringements such as unpacking, piracy, deliberate defamation, and improper use.

The Protection of Minors

Q: Can minors participate in the test?

A: Please note if a Proxy is a child under the laws related to the protection of personal information in their country or region, they should participate in this test after obtaining confirmation from their guardian.
